Nursing (PNST) Entrance Exams

The Pre-Nursing Selection Test (PNST) is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission to B.Sc. Nursing programs in government nursing colleges across various states in India, such as Madhya Pradesh and others. The exam is primarily organized by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), also known as Vyapam, for candidates who have completed their Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects.

The PNST exam is usually conducted in online (computer-based) mode and includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and General Knowledge. The exam assesses a candidate’s academic knowledge and aptitude for the nursing profession. Qualifying PNST allows students to pursue B.Sc. Nursing in reputed government institutions, where they receive both theoretical and practical training in patient care, medical ethics, and hospital management.
